  1. Press the `Windows key + S` to open the search bar.
  2. Type "allow an app through Windows Firewall" and select "Allow an app through Windows Firewall" from the search results.

  4. Scroll through the list of allowed apps and features until you find "Internet Download Manager."
  5. If IDM is not listed, click on the "Allow another app" button.
  6. Click the "Browse" button and navigate to the location where IDM is installed (usually in `C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Download Manager`).
  7. Select `IDMan.exe` and click "Open."
